Description
Compiled as the “Best of Diesel Cafe (featuring Rockwell Scharer) this album includes never before heard tracks that were written between the early 90s and 2010 when Scharer was a struggling songwriter developing his craft. In 1997 he recorded a Top Forty single called “Get It Together” The tragic Great Recession spurred a creative spree and Scharer went on to invent the inflatable DropKey® Pop-up Studio line of products when paired with DropKey, a Chroma key Camera App on smart devices, effectively Consumerized background replacement on smart devices. Scharer also wrote his sixth novel (and film) called “My Letter To Emily” about a little girl who changes the trajectory of a man who loses everything in the Great Recession. More recently he novelized his award-winning screenplay “Thornwillow: The Story of Young Santa”, an origin story about Young Santa, a tentpole studio film currently being shopped as a Christmas blockbuster film.
